KATHLEEN KERR

Kathleen has more than 25 years of experience in supporting the design, implementation, and evaluation of sustainable, high-quality serious illness programs across settings. Currently, her work is focused on scaling sustainable models of community-based palliative care, with particular emphasis on payer-provider partnerships, and supporting programs that operate in underserved and rural areas. Prior to becoming a consultant, Kathleen worked at the University of California, San Francisco. She regularly develops educational and technical assistance resources for payers and providers and frequently speaks to national and regional groups on scaling sustainable serious Illness programs. She is a longtime member of the selection committee for the American Hospital Association’s Circle of Life Award and serves on the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s Palliative Care Council.
